- Ensure there is no excess paint on brush stem and brush.
- Apply touch-up paint with light, even strokes.
- Allow to dry for 2 minutes.
Deeper Scratches, Nicks and Gouges
Deeper damages requires the use of the wax stick. Used carefully, this will still make the necessary repair.
- Carefully evaluate the damage.
- Use the applicator to scoop up wax.
- Press and pull wax over the damage to fill it up.
- Wrap a clean, dry cloth tightly around the applicator and clean excess wax in circular motions.
- Follow the Scratches and Scrapes steps as described above.
Notes
The use of a Touch-up Bottle may be beneficial before applying the wax stick to the area being repaired. This will colour the edges that may not be covered by the wax stick. Never use sandpaper or any other type of abrasive paper or materials to even out the scratch. This will further damage the finish.
