As a Millwright or Maintenance Technician, you’ll become an integral part of an exceptional team dedicated to maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery at the utmost level of reliability while focusing on safety and cost-effectiveness, ensuring efficient operations.

This position requires on call responsibilities.

Evening shift premiums available.


Key Responsibilities:

1)      Safety Compliance: adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

2)      Maintain Manufacturing Equipment:

  • Diagnose and repair machinery and equipment.
  • Preform inspections; preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
  • Respond to emergency machine breakdowns.

3)      Equipment Installation and Setup:

  • Install, move, align, setup machinery ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering.

4)      Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for improvements.

5)      Training employees on safe and efficient operation of machinery.


Key Competencies:

  • Able to communicate clearly in English.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft, Excel).
  • Able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyers.
  • Must be willing to work from heights, confined spaces and other conditions; able to lift heavy objects as required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic; ability to join and contribute to a high performing team.
  • Self-directed and motivated.
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail.


Experience & Education:

  • Journeyman/Red Seal Millwright preferred but matching certification from a European country accepted.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Woodworking machinery experience is an asset.
  • Forklift license is an asset, training provided.
